Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers Opens New Restaurant on North Highway 17 in Mount Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT (September 27, 2010) – Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers will celebrate the grand opening of the chain’s newest restaurant in Mount Pleasant, SC on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. The restaurant will open its first location in South Carolina at seven o’clock in the evening and launch a promotion that will give a percentage of the evening’s net sales back to East Cooper Meals on Wheels. Mount Pleasant officials will cut the ribbon to formally open the 94th restaurant nationally and its first in South Carolina.

The ceremony will kick off with a performance by the Wando High School Band. The restaurant will open and one winner will be awarded FREE Cane’s for a Year.  Customers will have a chance to register for two weeks to be the winner.

“Raising Cane’s is committed to being an active community partner in every market we serve,” said Todd Graves. “We are so excited to be in the Low Country area and look forward to getting to know our neighbors and customers in the area.”

The new Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is located at 1777 North Highway 17 in Mount Pleasant near Towne Centre. The location will offer a new lunch option for local businesses and families. The restaurant will be open Sunday – Thursday 10:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Friday – Saturday 10:30 a.m. – 11p.m. Scott Weller is the general manger of the Raising Cane’s Mount Pleasant.

In 1996, Graves opened his first Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers restaurant at the north gates of LSU. Thirteen years and 15 states later, the newest addition to the Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers family continues the company’s commitment to be an active community partner and to serve its ONE LOVE- quality chicken fingers meals with the famously-secret Cane’s sauce.
